Our Mining Cables

If you are buying an Ethernet cable for the first time you should be able to choose according to your mining computer and Rigs. The most durable cables are the Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, and the Cat7, all these cables use the same connector.

The Cat 5 cable is rated for 100 mbps at 100 m/s on a bandwidth of 100 MHZ. Cat 5 cables process the Chainlink, EOS and Cosmos Coins better.

Cat 5e cable is rated for 1000 mbps at 100m/s with bandwidth of 100 MHZ - this is due to the improved shielding of the wire which increases the speed. The Cat5e cable transmits more Data and can be used to mine the Dash Coin, Ethereum Classic and XRP.

Cat 6 is rated for 10 gbps at 55m/s and a bandwidth of 450 MHZ. NB: The bandwidth is range of frequency the cable is able to use depending on the level of electricity and heat. This affects mining and speed positively on the block. The Cat6 is reduces cross codes, the cat 6 is a good choice for more experienced developers.

  • The Cat 6a is capable of 18gbps at 100 m/s with a wide bandwidth of 750 MHZ . The Cat 6a is durable for a 10gig Network on a block mine. It’s also got further improved specifications.
  • The Cat 7 are fast and rated for 20gig speed ,improves reliability and speed. The Cat 7 is more suitable for complete mining and permanent mining needs. It goes at at 68 gbps at 100m/s with a bandwidth of 1000 MHZ.
